If you run Facebook Lead Ads but aren’t always in front of your computer, you need a way to view leads from your mobile. If not, you’ll end up missing out on new leads and wasting opportunities with slow responses.

The result? Poor sales and low returns on your marketing spend.

Unfortunately, some of the most common ways to check leads on Facebook (e.g. Facebook Leads Centre) are only available on desktop browsers. You can’t use them on mobile devices.

Thankfully, there are still several options to view leads from your mobile phone.

Today, we’ll cover the different ways to view your Facebook leads on a mobile device, ranked from hardest to easiest. Read on for the full details!

How to view leads from Facebook Lead Ads on your mobile phone

There are two main ways to view leads from Facebook Lead Ads on mobile devices: manually checking for new leads or getting leads sent to you automatically.

Manually checking for new Facebook leads:

  1. Manual CSV or XLS file downloads from your Facebook Page or Ads Manager
  2. Facebook Leads Viewer tools

Automatic alerts & downloads of new Facebook leads:

  1. Using third-party integrations to get new lead alerts
  2. Using a mobile CRM to receive and manage new leads

Manually checking for new leads is as time-consuming and repetitive as it sounds. Because you have no idea when a new lead is generated, you need to look for new leads many times a day. It creates a lot of extra work and wasted effort. You also take much longer to respond to new leads, sometimes hours to days.

Getting automatic lead alerts is a much better solution if you’re looking to find leads quickly. It lets you know precisely when a new lead is submitted without requiring you to check on your own constantly.

Even better is using a mobile CRM, as it alerts you of new leads and lets you follow up with them while their interest is at its peak. This skyrockets your chances of making a sale.

Let’s dive in to see exactly how each of these options work.

Manually checking for new Facebook leads on mobile devices

To check for new Facebook manually leads on your phone, you can download a CSV or XLS file from Facebook’s desktop website (viewed on your mobile browser) or use a Facebook Leads Viewer tool.

For both methods, you’ll still need to check multiple times a day to know if there are any new leads. This results in wasted time and effort, delays in contacting your leads, and ultimately lower conversions and sales.

1. Manual CSV or XLS file downloads from your Facebook Page or Ads Manager

You can manually view your Facebook Lead Ads data via CSV or XLS files from your mobile browser. Note, you can’t do this from the Facebook mobile app as it does not support this functionality. Moreover, this requires accessing the Facebook desktop website, which some mobile browsers and/or devices do not support.

Open www.facebook.com on your mobile browser and request the desktop website.

  • To do this on an iPhone, open the website in your Safari browser and tap the ‘AA’ icon in the upper-left. Then select ‘Request Desktop Website‘.
  • To do this on an Android device, open the website in your Chrome browser. Tap the three dots menu, then select ‘Request desktop site‘.

Once you’re on the Facebook desktop website, open the Facebook Page you wish to check. Tap on ‘Publishing Tools’ in the left column. Then, click on ‘Forms Library’ at the bottom of the left column to view all the Lead Forms under that Facebook Page. Tap ‘Download’ on a Lead Form to download the CSV or Excel file. Then open the file to check for new leads.

Alternatively, you can go to Ads Manager on the Facebook desktop site and click on the Ads tab. Then, click on Facebook Leads in the results column of the ad you want to check. Tap on Download New Leads or Download by Date Range to download the CSV or XLS file. Open it to check for new leads.

Repeat either of these steps for each Lead Form and/or Facebook Page you wish to view new leads from. You will have to do this many times a day to check each of your Lead Forms.

As you can tell, this method allows you to view leads but creates extra work and wastes a lot of time. It may also not even work on your preferred device and/or browser.

2. Facebook Leads Viewer tools

It also doesn’t need any account creation or setup, so checking for new leads is quick and easy.

Automatic alerts & downloads of new Facebook leads on mobile devices

Automatic Facebook lead alerts to your mobile phone

Want to get notified as soon as Facebook leads submit their details? Use a third-party integration or mobile CRM. These solutions can connect directly to Facebook to send you instant new lead alerts and automatically download the leads into your customer database, spreadsheet, or CRM application.

They end the need to manually check for new leads and let you get in touch with them as soon as possible. Some of these tools will even help you manage your leads and follow-ups, keeping you on top of your relationships and increasing your chances of making a sale.

1. Using third-party integrations to get new lead alerts

You can use third-party platforms such as Zapier to send you new lead alerts via email or SMS whenever you get a Facebook lead. You can also set up Zaps (Zapier’s automated workflows) to update your spreadsheets or customer database any time new leads submit their details, removing the need to check leads and copy the customer data over manually.

The downside is that integrations like Zapier can be pretty tedious to set up, particularly if you have many Facebook Pages and/or Lead Forms.

Additionally, connecting Zapier to Facebook Lead Ads is a premium integration that requires a paid subscription. You will face usage limits and increasing costs depending on your volume of leads.

One last point: Zapier only transfers data from one system to another, so you can’t use it as a customer database. Thus, if you also need a place to store and manage your leads, you’ll have to use (and pay for) both Zapier and a separate CRM or lead management system.

Third-party integrations work well if you have an existing customer database that you can’t connect to Facebook directly; Zapier will create that bridge. But if you don’t already have a system in place, then the cost and complexity of maintaining many platforms may not make sense.

2. Using a mobile CRM to receive and manage new leads

Mobile CRMs are applications that help you manage your leads and clients, improve productivity, and increase sales. Some CRMs can directly integrate with Facebook to give real-time lead alerts and/or automatically add new leads into their database.

If you use the right mobile CRM to receive your Facebook leads, you’ll get instant alerts of new leads and can contact, manage, and follow up with those leads – all from a single application.

One such example is Privyr, a mobile CRM that connects directly to Facebook Lead Ads, website contact forms, and other lead sources to download new leads and give you instant lead alerts automatically, allowing you to view leads on your phone with zero manual effort.

Even better, it lets you follow up with your leads via WhatsApp, SMS, iMessage, email, or phone call within seconds – ensuring you connect with them while they’re at their peak interest, increasing the likelihood of selling.

Privyr works across all devices and is super simple and easy to use; it takes less than 30 seconds to connect all of your Facebook Pages and Lead Forms from the app. It also offers unlimited access and usage plans, so there’s no need to worry if you run many different ads or receive lots of leads.

Note that not every CRM offers direct Facebook integration or lead alerts. Some may need additional systems like Zapier to connect, while others may not support any integrations at all.
